Today I'm building the turbine shaft, I turned with a 6 ° angle to the cone, unfortunately the cone is 27mm long and not 18mm as in the drawing, where did I go wrong? is it right even so or do I have to rebuild it?

I think this will be fine, as long as the thickest part stay the original diameter.

Even the parts of the combustion chamber are ready, they are in stainless steel 304, soon I will have a sheet of stainless steel 310ss which has characteristics similar to inconel

I bought many types of capillary tubes for the feeding system, these are various sizes in 316 stainless steel.

    Hi Gerald
Time has passed and I did not do a lot on turbines.

Very interesting this drawing. It has already a smaller angle (14°) your drawing on your website hast still 17°

I've reverse engineered and created this old JG100 Diffusor (https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-jets-120/11262454-gr130-7.html) and it seems to work much better / No surging. Fighting with other problems right now :)

    Regards Lukacs

    Hi everyone
I warn you that I have not abandoned the GR130 project, the desire to continue is stronger than ever, some work commitments did not allow me to continue, then I dedicated myself to the repairs of some of my models and now I am building a hauler and a Pilatus b4.

Yesterday I had a day off and I wanted to try to build the external part of the combustion chamber, unfortunately the rush made me mistake the punching, the diameter of the largest holes and the height of the sheet, but it served me as an experience, next time he was more careful.[IMG] [IMG]

Also yesterday I did another job, for the first ignition of the turbine I do not want to use 70 euro GWR bearings, if something does not work I would have a great waste of money, I bought 4 hybrid fuji bearings with 7 ceramic balls, I disassembled them, I modified the rings and built a bearing of 11 balls, the modification was perfectly successful, the balls are kept inside without the possibility of going out because the entrance has the right tolerance, I hope well.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
