She looks to be trimmed out a bit too flat now. Move the battery a bit more aft?

I would leave the trim angle as a last resort.
How about control?
When my Recoil's trim was still not correct, control (steering) was vague and unpredictable.

Nevertheless, the most important question: what did the GPS tracker tell you?

Me too, Paul asked how i removed it, but there wasn't any, dont know why.
Wondering how fox jet would be on this hull, it could also have the upgrade motor when it gets here, so 4074 up to 4082.

 

Longer motor can means longer magnets = more torque!
Indeed you could try the jet-fox again.
Who knows what it will bring concerning speed.

 

A few detail shots. The console has been printing all night long, it's up to the top of the curve on the side. My fear of it not being to size are allayed, now it's printing it looks a good size. Drawings give no indication to actual size.

Only another 6 hours to wait should get interesting when it reaches the details. Now it's not a tiny drawing I can appreciate the size better, I think it will look right.

In the end it was 27 hours, omg. What a marathon. Anyway the details came out better than I could hope for, how does it do that.
With hindsight I could have saved time and weight by having it hollow under the front cushion and a big hollow in the main part.
I need to go easy with the paint so the details remain.

New record to report 42 kph......I started today at 85% throttle to save some time as it was raining, she was quick I could tell, but got a shock when I returned to see 42 on the GPS. So worked in reverse going down 5 each run, to my surprise the speed kept up high not sure why. The impeller held up well and is super quiet too. What to try next, maybe drop another 0.5 mm on the exit to 16mm , I know there has to be a tipping point where things go the other way.

 

1st is % throttle, then amps peak, kph, and then peak watts.

Wonder why the amps drop while maintaining its speed over the runtime.
Less noise could mean better efficiency.
Noticed the sound of my FJD was getting more quiet over time due to gains in efficiency.

Still more to tweak for you, and see if you can design an impeller variant capable of doing 100% throttle at 80 to 100A! You are getting there. The road was long, but you are succeeding!

The steering console of your scale rib looks awesome! Very nice details for a FDM printer!

I 've been lucky with the permanent details, the microphone took 3 goes, the Garmin cover has been simplified to get it right. I think that's the key to much at this scale and it gets lost in printing.
Great looking ribs cadcam, love that workshop scene.

 

If I get this looking good it will spur me on to get it launched

Several attempts at the instruments, I think I've found a method that works now. Finally got a throttle I am happy with, again a few ended up in the bin.
