Still thinking which motor to choose ? What criteria do you concern most ? Usually, when we make the purchasingdecisions, PRICE and EFFICIENCY are the major concerns, right?

Let’s have a look on the comparison table in a glance!

Be reminded that, expenses should be considered not only from the early stage, but also the rest costs. For instance, brushes and commutator wear out after time, so brushed motors require maintenance and replacement parts from time to time.

A powerful brushed motor will wear out quicker than a slower one.

The differences means more the total power used by the motor is being converted into rotational force rather than being loss in heat and friction of the brushes against the commutator.

    What is T (Turn) means?

T: the number of times a wire is wrapped around the armature.
More Turns = Higher torque, less rpm, longer battery life. Slower but easier to drive.
Less Turns = Less torque, more rpm, shorter battery life. Faster but more difficult to drive.

    What is KV means ?

KV: related to the power out from a motor, or more usefully the torque level of a motor. KV=RPM per volt
    LOWER KV =MORE Torque
    HIGHER KV=MORE speed
