Hi Leen
CONGRATULATIONS!
You've done it!
And it is -as every time- a masterpiece of craftmanship
roost:
The little groove in the TL-housing where the LEDs take place,
is it part of your resine moulding or is it milled later from the rear?
@ Luc
Another method to built TL-lamps
(Not as detailed as the ones from Leen, but easier to built)
Make a soldered strip of 4 SMT-LEDs + a SMT Resistor and put it into a white or transparent Q-Tip.
It maybee a tick too big for 1/50, but it will fit up to 1/30.
At work
The lights will be powered by a self-made digital light controller which can immitate the flickering of the TLs (sorry, much more realistic as the one from Conr...), glowing halogen bulbs and something else.
A little example of the TLs (hope it works..):

Hope you are inspired ;-)
